Through creation of poetry, art, and photography, exploring the world, and connections with animals, nature, and people, I find inspiration for myself and others to discover the Lost World of knowing our true self and creating the life of our dreams.
Art is the most intense mode of individualism that the world has known.
– Oscar Wilde
Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.
– Andre Gide
Traveling where ever I am led to go, and working on a deeper intuitive connection with nature, animals, and people, spark my creativity and imagination and inspire me to explore worlds I didn’t know existed. Worlds in my dreams that come to life as I open to the experiences and insights they offer.
For years I had searched for that missing “something” in my life – Me!
Who was I? Why was I here? For a long time I had been aware of things that others didn’t see or feel and for many years I differed to others and denied my own knowing.
After spending many years breeding and riding horses, I slowly realized that the horses were actually helping me find my true self and re-connect with the part of me that had been lost in the “traditional” world.
At some level I had a deeper intuitive awareness that was calling me, not just for the horses but also for others like me.
I discovered that not only was the special energy and feeling from being where nature was constantly bursting out at me externally; it was also something I was feeling internally. (Inspiring the name of my farm –Lost World Farm)
As I began traveling more I also realized that “getting away” allowed me to disconnect from that “traditional” world. I could escape the schedules and responsibilities. I felt free. I loved experiencing new food, language, customs, and people. I discovered how much I loved the ocean! I realized how brave and confident I could be as I traveled to foreign countries alone. As I learned about each new place I visited I found I also learned more about me.
We are all capable of so much more than we can imagine. When you come to know who you really are… you come to learn that there is so much more to life.
Through sharing this blog, traveling the world, and learning to trust in my intuition and creativity, I have found my true purpose.
